Axillium is seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst/Lead Technologist with broad expertise gained from working in R&D in both industry and academia. Our ideal candidate will be instinctively collaborative, have a strategic mindset with strong analytical ability, and a track record of writing successful bids. Experience of systems engineering and agile methodologies in a digital environment would be an advantage.
In this varied role, you will guide and support three key areas in the business:
- Business development – leading the definition of new R&D projects and writing compelling commercial bids;
- Innovation management – leading the technical delivery of our clients’ R&D projects to help them unlock the potential of their technologies; and
- Our service delivery – ensuring Axillium remains competitive in the Innovation Management market by making the best use of technology to deliver its services in what is a highly-competitive and continuously evolving space.
You will have to understand the technological ideas, progress and challenges encountered by our clients, and apply your industrial and academic knowledge to help them overcome their R&D challenges. This will require you to stay up to date with the latest industry and academic thinking on the subjects covered by our projects specifically, and on new and emerging technologies in general.
You should have a strong grasp of advanced and emerging technologies and their application in industry, as well as a natural curiosity about how technology could be harnessed in a different environment to bring value.
